    Orthochromatophilic Erythroblast

    A cell derived from a polychromatophilic erythroblast in bone marrow. It has a dense nucleus and its cytoplasm is approaching the color of a mature erythrocyte. It differentiates into a reticulocyte when it extrudes its nucleus. (NCI Thesaurus)
