    Human PAK1 wild-type allele is located within 11q13-q14 and is approximately 152 kb in length. This allele, which encodes serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 1 protein, plays a role in the dissolution of stress fibers and reorganization of focal complexes. (NCI Thesaurus)
