    Palmoxirate Sodium

The sodium salt form of palmoxirate, an inhibitor of long-chain fatty acid oxidation with hypoglycemic activity. By inhibiting fatty acid oxidation, palmoxirate increases carbohydrate oxidation attributed to the glucose-fatty acid cycle (Randle cycle) resulting in decreased blood glucose levels.
