    Parasympathetic Paraganglioma

    A benign or malignant, usually non-functioning, extra-adrenal paraganglioma that arises from paraganglia located along the parasympathetic nerves. Representative examples include aorticopulmonary, carotid body, jugulotympanic, and mediastinal paragangliomas. (NCI Thesaurus)
