    A recombinant retroviral virus derived from SR-A strain of Rous sarcoma virus carrying a human gene encoding the G12D mutant form of K-Ras. The viral vector, RCAS harbors a Replication Competent ALV Splice acceptor. This recombinant virus was use in animal model to study gliomagenesis. (NCI Thesaurus)
