    Recombinant Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 3

A recombinant agent, which is chemically identical to or similar to the endogenous cytokine transforming growth factor-beta-3 (TGF-beta-3). TGF-beta-3 modulates cell growth and immune function and may promote or inhibit tumor growth, depending on the tumor cell type; this agent may also suppress host immune system recognition of and/or response to tumor cells.
