    Streptomyces griseus

    Definition 1

    A species of aerobic, Gram positive, filamentous bacteria in the phylum Actinobacteria. This species is spore forming, yellow to orange colored, elastase and hydrolase positive and produces streptomycin. S. griseus is not a known pathogen. (NCI Thesaurus)
